Personal Statement Review
This is a one-off thorough review of your Personal Statement via a written report. You submit your Personal Statement beforehand (as close to 4000 characters) this is then reviewed, where every part of your statement is checked. If you know which universities you are applying to then it will be tailored accordingly.
Any additional resources that may be needed e.g. ideas for volunteering, further reading or signposting to courses will also be provided and you will have access to previous successful personal statements.
Reviews are returned within 48 hours of submission. An additional charge of £15 will be applied if you need it sooner.
In Summary, the session involves:
- ONE Personal Statement review
- Additional resources to support your application
- Access to previous successful PS (old style)
- Finding your USP (unique selling point) to make your PS stand out and resources to establish this.
This package is ideal if you have attended the PS teaching webinar.
Every review undergoes a two-step process:
An initial thorough review by our Oxford Medical Students
A second comprehensive review by Dr Afrosa Ahmed, adding her 30 years of Medical expertise as an NHS Doctor and Medical Educator, with previous teaching posts at medical schools including UCL and King's College London. As a long-standing and current Medical School Interviewer, she has extensive insight into what the admissions committee look for.
This powerful combination provides insightful feedback and makes an excellent resource for anyone applying.
